SANAH THAKUR

Mental Wellbeing Facilitator, Educator and Writer

Sanah Thakur is an international speaker, educator and writer. Having graduated with a degree in Psychology, Sanah then completed her PGCE in Psychology and Sociology at one of the world’s top British International Schools. As a firm propagator of mental well-being, Sanah is also a trained facilitator and assessor for the psychological mental well-being and resilience training programme; The Fear Project.

Sanah also runs her own organization ‘Sanation’, which began in India following the work of Jiddu Krishnamurti in order to change priorities in education. Her experiences in teaching revealed that with the pressure of examinations, the real application and use of psychological knowledge was being misinterpreted in truly benefiting the students. This disparity in the reality of today’s classroom has led to her speaking around the world delivering workshops on strategies for stress and anxiety as well as memory techniques for student revision. Recently, she was invited to speak at a Tedx Conference where she inspired the students with her innovative talk on why ‘The Education System Must Die’. To elaborate on her ideas, she has written over 50 articles for her weekly column in the Gulf Times on topics of memory, well-being, personality and cognitive psychology.

She currently works as a facilitator and event co-ordinator at Passare Consultancy UK. Here, she has co-authored and designed 4 online courses, which she is working to bring to the marginalized communities in India.
